Do you want to turn your passion for pilates into a career? The Good Place offers a comprehensive teacher training program of the full pilates repertoire (mat, reformer, trapeze, wundachair and more). We cover everything from the history of the Method and the founder Joseph Pilates to modern business practices and coaching skills and everything in between. This 450 hour program includes in studio group training, access to the studio equipment to practice, practice teach* and a membership to both locations for 1 year to complete all required hours and test out.
The program is led by Ashley Ansuini, founder of the Good Place and NPCP certified instructor.

What is a comprehensive Pilates Training?
This in-depth, NPCP-aligned program is designed to take you from passionate practitioner to confident, certified instructor. Over the course of this training, you’ll build a solid foundation in classical, contemporary and athletic Pilates, with hands-on experience across all apparatus and movement levels.
Lecture + Practical Training
Basic anatomy, biomechanics, cueing, modifications, teaching strategies, and repertoire on Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrel, and Mat.Practice Teaching
Supervised and independent sessions to sharpen your voice, eye, and flow. Work with diverse bodies in person, virtually across group and private scenarios. Get instant feedback and real world experience.Self Practice
Build body awareness and movement vocabulary with consistent, logged Pilates sessions.Observation Hours
Watch experienced instructors in action to absorb technique, tone, and how to handle real clients in person and virtually.

Pathway to take the NPCP Certification Exam
By the end of this program, you’ll be ready to teach with confidence, clarity, and heart—whether it’s in a group class, private session, or running your own show.
NPCP is a nationally recognized Pilates certification that we are aligned with. Completion of our program allows for application to test with the NPCP and certify nationally. This exam & subsequent fee is not included with your TGP training, you are encouraged to apply upon completion.
Studios hire & require certs on a case by case basis.
450 Hour Breakdown
90+ hours hands on small group training on the equipment at the Good Place with Ashley Ansuini & mentors.
The remaining hours can be completed in studio*, home, virtually or any other location you have access to equipment & apparatus.
60 observation hours
150 personal pilates workouts
150 practice teaching sessions
